VINO Wine Bar
Bar & Lounge
Looking up for some chill after work? This 300sqm unit on the 5th level of office building at the heart of Surabaya offers you nothing but a good night escapade. The atmosphere that rings coherently with the nuance that we specifically created for our client leaves nothing but to make you impressed when you take your first step in. Dimmed light, modern feels, series of exotic patterns, combined with live show on center stage enlightens the night with cheers and laughter.

Going inside, guest will be greeted with drammatic view of signage backdrop worth taking memories for. Don’t forget to look at our wine cellar display at the left corners though, lots of wines for your selection! We deliberately give lights and glasses for security and the slanting shelves are suitable for typical wine bottle display. The bar counter offers you spaces to sit and talk while sipping some alcohols (if you can repeat twice that would be better). Behind the bar counter there are series of fixed built-in cabinet that is divided into many different shelves and shapes. Each shelve has its own hidden light to illuminate the wines and alcohols, added with the backlighted acrylic at the top for indirect lighting to give more drammatic exposure.

The furniture arrangements are juxtaposed neatly with grouping. We grouped four chairs together and did some variations with long 3-seater couch as well. The floor pattern are diagonal checkerboard from black and serpeggiante homogenious tiles.

So here is one of the coziest spot in the corner. Why? Because this used to be a dead space with tiny corner that did not function well initially. But we did not want to let that be in vain. We decided to partition up the space in this L-shape cabinet and function it as series of 2 wine cellars with same design as wine cellar behind the bar cabinet. We gave a high table corner with some bar stools there to cater space for people to talk, engage, chill, or to give area for the waiter to demon- strate the wines to entertain the guests. So who would reject it? Beside the L-shape wine cellars is the unused space we accommodated for hidden back storage camouflaged with doors in same laminate finish as the pillar beside. Overall, we had so much of enjoy- ment designing this place and the best of luck for our client.
